Three Interior Design Trends for Fall 2018

Three Interior Design Trends for Fall 2018

Believe it or not, autumn is right around the corner, which means pumpkins everywhere, warm colors, and scarves around every neck. As this season approaches and you prepare to decorate your home for this beautiful time of year, there are a few trends making their rounds!

  1. Everything Navy. As you find a backdrop for your dining room table or are looking for a beautiful fall piece for your walls, navy is the way to go. This dark blue has people swooning over it so much that people are painting this color on their walls, kitchen islands, doors, and anything else they can get their hands on!

    • Check out this link for some beautiful navy checkered napkins to help set the stage for your next get together.

  2. Oversized floral prints. If you are needing a big picture to hang on your wall, or even considering redoing the wall paper in that guest bath you’ve been putting off for so long, look for a framed piece with oversized florals. If you especially want to make it fit the season, find one with warm colors such as mustard yellow, navy, deep reds or oranges. Let this piece say “Let’s let autumn inside this year!” to every guest who enters your home.

  3. Vintage decorations. Even outside of the fall season, vintage decorations are making a comeback! However, when decorating for autumn, perhaps try rummaging through your mother’s or grandmother’s decorations. See if anything strikes your fancy. If not, keep your eye out for any beautiful antiques that might work just perfectly in your home.

    • Even though this is a new sign, it has a vintage twist and I absolutely love the way it looks!

If you are a trendy person who loves to make sure your house in in shape for whatever season is arising, this one is for you! Let’s all celebrate fall in style as it quickly approaches.
