How To Know If It’s Time To Move
Have you ever been sitting at the dining room table and just feel squished? Or perhaps you have little kids that share a room and one child is constantly waking the other one up? Or when guests come over, one of your kids ends up sleeping in your walk-in closet because the guest needs to use their room? But, are these the right reasons to move into a new house? Well, let’s talk about ways to know when it’s time to move!
Consider This First
A new house doesn’t mean always mean more square footage. It could mean the same square footage you currently have just in a different layout that works better for your family.
Upgrades aren’t always the be-all-end-all. Consider what is more important to your family, more space, or more upgrades.
Think about what you want and then be patient. Waiting can sometimes be key in finding the perfect house. However, you also don’t wait until you are ready to burn your house down before finding a new home. Start slow and the end result will be worth it!
Ways To Know If It’s Time To Move
More Bedrooms
This is a common problem among families. If you are busting at the seams in your home, it may be time to consider moving into a new house.
Kitchen Size
Are you a baker or cook who loves to spend time in the kitchen? Having an adequate-sized kitchen to do all your baking is vital to your family. Consider looking at homes with larger kitchens so you have the space you need to get the job done!
Fixer-Uppers
Fixer-uppers are great until they are not great at all. If you have taken on the task of fixing up your home and you are tired of it, consider moving into a new home that has all the fixings done for you.
Fixer-Uppers Part 2
Do you live in an updated home but the updates aren’t quite what you want? Consider finding a fixer-upper and making it just the way you like it!
More Land
Do you live outside or dream of putting lots of things on your property? These are great reasons to find a house on more land! Having more space outside for activities is also a blessing to tired moms who can send their kids out to play and know they are safe.
