Preparing for a Transition: Daniel and Victoria's Story
When Daniel and Victoria were presented with a new job opportunity out of state, they knew that they wanted a realtor that was more than just someone who would help sell their house. They wanted a realtor that could guide and encourage them in the process. With 2 young boys at home, Victoria knew getting the house ready (and keeping it clean for showings) would be a challenge, so she wanted a realtor that would work with them and for them.
When Tracey’s name came up at church, Victoria knew that she would be the perfect person for the job.
“From the first time Tracey came over, she was just awesome. You could tell she knew what she was doing and knew what buyers would want,” Victoria said. Tracey helped them focus on the repairs that mattered, and not stress over getting every little thing perfect. As a seller it’s easy to find the imperfections in your home, and let the details become overwhelming. But, Tracey’s outside perspective brought new insight and a peace that helped make the selling process seem more manageable.
“You could just tell she cared from the get-go,” said Victoria.
After their home was officially on the market, they loved that Tracey was great with staying in communication. She gave them feedback from showings, and kept a level head when the process started to seem discouraging or overwhelming. Victoria and Daniel knew their perfect buyer was out there, and Tracey reminded of them of this when they needed it most.
Eighteen days later, they had an offer!
During the negotiation process, Victoria was thankful that Tracey was “so great at being the go-between between us and the buyers. Everything she did was fair for both sides.” She was knowledgeable and knew what was standard for both the buyers and sellers.
Selling their house was not only a huge relief for Daniel and Victoria, it was also exciting! This was one of the biggest tasks to check off before their upcoming move, and accomplishing that brought a sense of freedom, newness, and possibility.
Victoria reflected that, “Tracey is more than just a realtor, she’s a friend. The encouragement that she gave made it about so much more than just selling our house. We enjoy spending time with her and know that she cares.”
